She was predeceased by: her parents, Step Petitt and Nannie Bell Aldridge Petitt; her husband William Thurman; her siblings, Walter Petitt, Kayo Petitt, Hazel Peyton and Bea Spears; her great grandchild James R. Warner; and her great great grandchild Waylon Shadbolt.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Wayne Thurman of Eminence, KY and Joyce LaVern Snook (Robert) of Smithfield, KY. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
