He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richie of Washington and Lula May Gilly Richie; and his stepdaughter Monica Abersold. He is survived by: his children, Earl Richie, Jr. of LaGrange, Jessica Brewer (Timmy) of New Castle, Sara Bailey Nichols (Bill) of Crestwood, Brooke Richie of Eminence and Anna Richie-Maddox (Ian) of Shelbyville; his stepchildren, Landon Long of Centerfield, Aaron Moore of LaGrange and Veronica Moore of Florence; his sisters, Mary Hopkins of Louisville, Doris Pettit of Bedford and Lucy Richie of Eminence; and his close friends, Big Bill, Mike, Dixie and Cindy. He is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
