Dennis Benham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Benham of New Castle, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Laverna Benham (Stewart); his siblings, Sarah Elizabeth Benham and James "Jim" Benham; and his sister-in-law Nancy Benham (Arnett).
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Ann Watson (Jeffrey) of Lawrenceburg and Wesley Benham (Katie) of New Castle; his brother Charles "Tommy" Benham of New Castle; his sister-in-law Shirley Benham of Louisville; the mother of his children Kathy Benham of Lawrenceburg; and his grandchildren, Sophia and Sydney Brewer.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Prewitt Funeral Home of New Castle (425 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050).
Interment: New Castle Cemetery, Memorial Contributions: WHAS Crusade for Children, 520 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202 in honor of the New Castle Volunteer Fire Department.
