He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Searcy and Margaret Searcy; and his brothers, Roger and Ricky Searcy. He is survived by: his wife Karen Searcy; his daughters, Kim Curry (Joe), Danyel Tingle (Troy) and Heather Walker (Timmy); his stepchildren, Crystal Cox and George McCoy; and his siblings, David Searcy (Bonnie), Sammy Searcy, Shirley Black (Donnie) and Gail Gullett (James). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
