She was predeceased by: her parent Morgan Sharp; and her husband Earl Holmes, Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Arvine Colston Sharp; her children, Sue Elliott (Jerry) of New Castle and Earl Holmes Jr. (Mary Anne) of Pleasureville; her granddaughters, Kelly Terrill (Jon) of Los Angeles and Audrea Bates (Shane) of Crestwood; and her great grandchildren, Hailee and Katie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Drennon Christian Church, PO Box 495, New Castle, Kentucky 40050.
