She was predeceased by: her parents, David Chisholm (Nora Belle Beverly Chisholm) and Lincoln Grubbs; her sons, Gary and David Grubbs; and her siblings, James Chisholm, Naomi Ethington, Jessie Orihood, Rosa Belle Hughes and Mary Dawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Grubbs Woodward (Michael); and her grandchildren, Christopher Woodward, Nora Carlin, Jacob Grubbs, Josiah Grubbs, Jediah Grubbs, Hannah Grubbs, Leah Grubbs, Micah Grubbs, Caleb Grubbs, Jesse Grubbs and David Grubbs (Jeremiah). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home (425 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
