She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Harrod Attorneys; her sister-in-law Carolyn Harrod Thompson; her children, Virginia Lee "Jennie" Harrod of Lockport and Evan K. Harrod, II (Georgia) of Smithfield; and her grandchildren, Sophia Grace and John William Hutton Harrod.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth at 1115 Ashgrove Road; Nicholasville, KY 40356, or to the Henry County Public Library at 280 East Broadway Street; Eminence, KY 40019.
