It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Jackson of Neon, Kentucky, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Seward and Carrie Garland Seward; her son Chris McGilton; and her sisters, Kathy Clark and Wanda Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Earl Jackson; her children, Charles McGilton (Jenny) of North Carolina, Michael McGilton (Melanie) of Alabama, Shannon Garland of Neon, Jeremy Jackson (Kayla) of Western, Kentucky, Jesse Jackson (Exa) of Neon, Zack Garland of Neon, Dakota Garland of Neon, Cynthia McGilton of Redfox, Connie Whitaker (John) of Hazard, Carrie Tackitt (John) of Mayking and Cheyhanne Garland of Neon; and her siblings, Vernon Seward of Stearns, George Seward of Pine Knott, Judy Garland of Strunk, Linda Coomer of Nancy, Irene King of Strunk, Debbie Genoe of Strunk and Brenda Stulz of Somerset. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 20 great grandchild.
