He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sturgill and Helen Cress Sturgill; and his siblings, Dorothy Sturgill, Peggy Davis, Phyllis Brown, Shirley Duty, Helen Shepherd, Charles Sturgill and Ricky Sturgill.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Bryant of McRoberts and Joshua Sturgill of Neon; his siblings, Wade Sturgill of Hazard, Billy Sturgill of McRoberts, Nancy Hall of Middlesboro and Betty Gross of Cowan; and his grandchildren, Jonathon Bowling, Haleigh Vance, Justin Bryant, Jesse Bryant, Kaleigh Sturgill, Jocelyn Bryant and Jeffrey Sturgill.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
