He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Kilgore and Alvona Smith Kilgore; his son Darryl Kilgore; and his siblings, Guy Kilgore, Bernard Kilgore, Kyle Kilgore, Greg Kilgore, Eileen, Loreen and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Holbrook Kilgore; his children, Danny Kilgore of Ohio, Melvin Kilgore (Crystal) of Neon, Curtis Kilgore (Sandra) of Hazard, Gail Ditmer (John) of Ohio, Donna Elwald (Doug) of Ohio and Denia Adams (Trillis) of Eolia; his sister Irene Godsey of Illinois; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Kilgore.
