He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Childers and Elsie Childers. He is survived by: his wife Anita Childers of Providence, KY; his daughters, Christine Lynn of Aberdeen, NC and Amy Dobbs (Gil) of Madison, AL; his brother Jimmy Childers (Kathy) of Dixon, KY; and his grandchildren, Ean, Asa and Sam.
