He is survived by: his children, Peggy Woodruff (Scott) of Dawson Springs, KY, Amy Carter of Nashville, TN and John Edward Carter (Malarin) of Spring Hill, TN; his sisters, Helen Lamb of Madisonville, KY and Joyce Henry (Mackey) of Owensboro, KY; and his stepgrandchildren, Breanna Woodruff and Dylan Woodruff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
