It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joyce Oakley of Nebo, Kentucky, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Vera Jones Lamb; her husband James Eural Oakley; her siblings, James Lamb, Kenneth Lamb, Thomas "Tommy" Lamb, Mildred Duncan and JoNell Hoyer; and her grandson Scotty Lester.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Oakley (Cindy) of Manitou, Shawn Oakley (Julie) of Manitou, Sherri Hardeman (Doug) of Nashville, TN and Tonya Oakley Deese of Madisonville; her grandchildren, Tiffany Mays (Shane), Faith Lutz (Ben), Brittany Blue (Colin), Christian Oakley (Sierra), Erin Blanford (Dylan), Ashton Crook (Austin), Kenzie Oakley Gould (Aiden) and Johanna Oakley; and her great grandchildren, Zack, Noah, Aiden, Katelyn, Scarlett, Jack, Duke, Marshall, Luke, Tess and Watson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
