Betsy Jane Dearing Bruce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy Jane Dearing Bruce of Nebo, Kentucky, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Marion Dearing and Dovie Lou Dearing (Egbert); her husband Thomas J. Bruce of Providence, KY; and her siblings, Robert Herschel, James Tilman, Vernon Morris Dearing, Mary Alice Bruce Grisham and Monica "KoKo" Oliver (Lee).
She is survived by: her daughter Cherry D. Mitchell; her sister Margaret Hannah Landrum; her grandchildren, Hamilton L. Mitchell and Amy C. Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Katharine Roberts, Joseph Mitchell and Gracie Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy are most appropriately made by making donations to the Rose Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Donation envelopes will be available at Beshear Funeral Home.
