He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Rast and Maria Rast (Bloch); his wife Virginia Long; his siblings-in-law, Rosalie Rast and John Zboch; his great grandchild Colton Mallaber; his grandson-in-law Scott Haskins; and his son-in-law Bradley Reynolds (Joseph Diaz).
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Rast (Brenda Overby) of London, Diane Reynolds of Ferguson and Erika Davis (David) of Eubank, Kentucky.; his siblings, Herman Rast of Mason City and Rosemunde "Rose" Zboch of Fredonia; his sister-in-law Sandra Czartorynski of Somerset; his grandson Troy Reynolds; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Sadie Reynolds, Hailey, Emma Haskins, Bryley Mallaber, Bradly Reynolds, Valarie Rast (Derrick Dugger), Connor and Colson Sears; his great great grandchildren, Anthony Dugger and Levi McNevin; his grandchildren, Dewayne, Sabrina, Jennifer, Jeremy and Heather; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Brooklyn, Jayden, Austin, Kayla, Taryn, Zachary Davis (Katie), Malory Davis, Hayden, Tiara, Dustin and Jillian; his great great grandchildren, Bentley and Corbin McGee; and his close friends, Sassy and Diane Reynolds. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends he loved.
