He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Johnston Sr. and Mae Johnston; and his former wife Lois Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johnston; his children, Norman Johnston III and Cassie Hall (Daniel); his stepson Brian Carrier (Judy); his siblings, Gerald Johnston and Debbie Johnston; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke, Nathan and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Jayce and Ashton.
