She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Martinez and Hermalinda Flores Valdez; and her siblings, Richard Valdez, Genaro Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Velia Watts and Maria Delfina Valdez.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Novak; her children, John Novak (Cecelia), Jorrie Fatheree (Christopher) and Brenda Sparrow (Jamie) of Somerset; her siblings, Humberto Valdez and Mary Louise Flores; and her grandchildren, Kaiden Smith, Reed Novak, Jonas Novak, Noah Sparrow and Joshua Sparrow.
