He was predeceased by: his parent Zelphia Harris Howard; his brother Jeff Howard; and his brother-in-law Jim Roland. He is survived by: his father Edward Howard of Hyden, KY; his wife Gini Watkins Howard of Nancy, KY; his son Bret Howard (Sarah) of Somerset, KY; his grandchildren, Brenly and Maverick Howard of Somerset, KY.; his siblings, Carolyn Roland of Williamsburg, KY and Lonnie Dean Howard (Patty) of Hot Springs, VA; and his brother-in-law Tom Watkins of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
