With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna Rose Adkins of Nancy, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Earl Adkins I and Mammie Doris Hinkle; her grandparents, Penny Bill, Lilly Adkins, Roscoe and Julia Hinkle; her son-in-law Jon Burton Kelley; and her mother-in-law Bertha Whittle.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Jo Kelley of Nancy, Monica Jo Tucker (Andy) of Nancy and Jimmy Lee Whittle II (Orleanais) of Burnside; her grandchildren, Madison Kelley, Emma Vaughn (Caleb), Ryan Whittle, Christin Whittle, Maelee Tucker and Ellee Tucker; and her siblings, Johnny Earl Adkins II (Joyce), Francis Wiese of Somerset, Joan Isaacs (Mike) of Somerset, Judy Kuhnapfel of Somerset and Virginia Whitaker of Louisville. She is also survived by extended family, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
