He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Sweet and Margaret Eldridge Sweet; his father-in-law Lester Carrender; and his siblings-in-law, Bengie Carrender, Thomas Garner, Butch Burton and Vickie Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Lester Carrender Sweet; his daughters, Audrea Sweet of Science Hill and Melissa Hines (Derek) of Science Hill; his grandchildren, Andrew Sweet, Destiny Sweet, Emma Hines and Jace Hines; his great grandchild Serana Sweet; his siblings, Danny Sweet of Somerset, Wanda McGowan of Somerset, Janie Burton of Russell Springs and Brenda Garner of Somerset; his mother-in-law Hattie Cuppernell of Somerset; and his brothers-in-law, Joey Carrender of Jabez and Darryl Morgan of Stanford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
