She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Wells and Vura Wells (McChesney); her former husband Matt Foster; her husband Nick Meriwether; her son James Stephen Foster; and her siblings, Allie Wells, Lonnie Wells, Norman Wells and Texie Wells Laster.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Foster Beard of Murray, KY, Barbara Lamkin (Mike) of Hopkinsville, KY, Nicholas H. Meriwether IV (Cathryn) of Clarksville, TN and Jeffrey D. Meriwether of Hopkinsville, KY; her friend Ron Sholar of Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Brooke Foster-Lacey (Alex), Kim Stevenson (Bobby), Melanie Beard (Jay Fiese), Stephanie Hale (Wayne Mosley), Beverly Cheatham-Henderson (Jeff), Tauzzia Bickert (Ed), Claire Maher (John), Nicholas Hunter Meriwether (Morgan), Amber MacLaine (Brian), Megan Skunza and Dylan Colley (Haley). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
