It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia S. Tindell (Murray, Kentucky), who passed away on January 10, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spitzer and Lillian Spitzer; her brother David Spitzer; her great grandchild Cris Painter; her wife Linda; and also Esther Black (late Joe).

She is survived by: her husband Robert Martel (Bob); her children, Martha Murray (Donald) of Ooltewah, Melissa Brandon of Knoxville, Robert Martel Tindell II (Diana) of Murray and Jennie Collingsworth of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Marketta LaFoe (Mike) of Knoxville, Jay Brandon (Courtney) of Knoxville, Krista Brandon of Knoxville, Matthew Brandon of Knoxville, Whitney Fitzgerald of Knoxville, Sarah Melton (Tim) of Rock Hill, Trey Tindell (Destiny Byrd) of Brady, Jake Tindell (Lena Bohannon) and Katie Tindell of Murray Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Brandon Green, Hayley Melton, James Dean Melton, Ryan Melton, Tyler Melton, Ethan Brandon, Grayson Brandon, Gabriel Tolley, Takoda LaFoe, Kaitlyn Tindell, Alexis Tindell, Layton Tindell and Allie Rose Tindell; her brother Paul Spitzer (Mary) of Denver; her niece Tanya Green (Dennis) of Arlington; her sister-in-law Shirley Tindell Black; and also, Mandy Green of Arlington, Renda and Terohn. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
