He is survived by: his wife Kay Hays of Murray; his children, Heather Ann Downey (Michael), Jennifer Rhea Hays, Deanna Maree Beane (Michael), Christopher Lynn Brooks (Lisa) and Raymond Bennie Hays, Jr. (Brienne); his sisters, Gail Knowles (Mike), Beth Lane (Allan) and Polly Brent (Jack); and his grandchildren, Kevin Michael Downey (Clarissa), Zachary Ryan Downey (Jessica), Darian Matthew Ryan Boggs, Draven Lazarus Otto Boggs (Jordan), Driften Micah Beane, Delilah Michelle Beane, Cameron Tyler Brooks, Elyza Grace Hays, Uriah Benjamin Hays, Christopher Juston Downey (Julia) and Alexa Erin Hall.
