She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Cortez and Patye Overcast (Wall); her husband William Arthur "Bill" Ladd; her siblings, Thomas Overcast, Jerry Overcast, Marguerite Harrell and Eva Clees; and her grandson Chip Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Turner (Larry) of Murray, KY, Martha Green (Jim) of Murray, KY and Steve Ladd (Debbie) of Murray, KY; her grandchildren, Jennifer Baumer (Mark) of Prospect, KY, Jonathan Turner (Peggy) of New Concord, KY, Dr. Neely Armes of Louisville, KY, Trey Green (Cara) of Benton, KY, Amy May (Paul) of Herrin, IL, Angie McCord (Jeremy) of Murray, KY and Dustin Ladd (Tara) of Murray, KY.; and her niece Lisa Darnell of Murray. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
