He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Graves and Jessie Mae Wilson Graves; his great grandchild Beau Ryan Doss; his brother George Vester Poe; and his foster mother Emma Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Graves, Jr. (Heather) of Rives, TN, Jeff Graves (Tammy) of Puryear, TN, Debra Doss (Terry) of Murray and Tracey Mowery (Mitch) of Murray; his grandchildren, Troy Doss (Daysha) of Murray, Adam Doss of Murray, Holly Wade (Kyle) of Murray, Jake William Graves (Katie) of Memphis, Mackensie Graves (Blake Vacca) of Murray, Jaxon Moran, Dylan Moran of Rives, TN, Julie McCall (Brandon Smith) of Nashville, Miguel and Marisela Sanchez of Rives, TN; and his great grandchildren, Ryann Doss, Lainey Doss, Emma Grace Graves, Andrew Graves, Sunny Smith and Beck Smith.
