It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Carolyn Simmons (Murray, Kentucky), born in Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Anderson and Beatrice Gordon Anderson; her husband Bennie Simmons; her siblings, Lou Ella Shelby, Kotlar, Bruton Wood, Geraldine Anderson, Elwanda Cox, Cecil Anderson and Lewis Anderson Jr.; her granddaughter Kellie Williams; and her children-in-law, Patricia Faulker-Simmons and John McConnachie.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie McConnachie of Murray and Steve Simmons of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Cathy Williams of Orlando, FL, Stephanie Ernsting (Matthew) of Franklin, TN and Brad Simmons (Josh Adair) of Murray; and her great grandchildren, Alexander and William Ernsting.
