She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dennis Kirks and Ruby Jewell Kirks (Walker); her former husband Harrison G. Collins; her husband Thomas O. Cathey; and her siblings, Edward "Dee" Kirks, Pat Kirks, Tommy Kirks, Maddie Jo Ross, Ruth Mills and Annette Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
