He was predeceased by: his wife Dular "Jude" Sanders; and his siblings, Mabel Wyatt, Alice Elkins, Opal Gibson, Goldie Webb and Charley Sanders.
He is survived by: his daughters, Burnette Lowe (Robert) of Murray and Brenda Elkins (Larry Weatherford) of Murray; his grandchildren, Mechelle Elkins (Roger Garland) of Hazel, Kentucky and Mitzie Elkins of Hazel, Kentucky; his great grandchild Jacob Garland; and his niece Doris Forsythe (Buddy) of Buchanan.
