Gilbert Sears Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Sears of Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chauncey Gilbert and Bertha Sears (Woodall); his son-in-law Ricky Hatley; and his siblings, Wilton Sears, Wayne Sears, Jerry Sears, Donnie Sears, Mickey Beechler, Helen Cahill, Peggy Wilson and Doris Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Winta Jane Sears (Puckett); his children, David Sears (Rhonda) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Stephen Sears (Mary) of Benton, KY, Carol Hatley of Hopkinsville, KY, Laura Anne Ownbey (Jim) of Cleveland, TN and Alison Carillon of Katy, TX; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Carter (Adam), Alison Jones (Luke), Ryan Sears (Megan), Whitney Sears, Jessica Adkins (Jim), Kyle Sears (Lauren), Erin Ownbey, Kendra Sears, Jordan Carillon, Leeann Sears, Elizabeth Sears, Jennifer Kemp (Craig), Emily Fox (Kody), Megan Smith (Josh), Sara Anne Fairbanks (Dustin), Christopher Carillon and Adam Carillon. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
