We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2022, at the age of 93, George Anderson Beard of Murray, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Aubrey Doss; his wife Louise Beard (Jones); his son Henry Beard; his son-in-law James Watts; and his siblings, William Teague, Harold Walls, Helen Beard Loftis, Dale Beard West, Don Beard, Jack Beard, Violet Beard Mahan and Frank Beard.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Watts, David Beard, Nancy Dodd, Shirley Pettett (Don), Jim Howard (Rena), Larry Howard, Helen Beard, Mary Beard (Ronnie Price), Kevin Beard and Patty Goswick (Lyn); and his brother Bobby Corley (Charlene). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
The family suggests donations in memory of George Beard be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
