He was predeceased by: his mother Ovelia Travis; and his brother Bobby Travis. He is survived by: his parent James Travis; his wife Toni Travis of Murray; his daughters, Candez Campbell (Randy) of Calvert City and Shawna Travis of Benton; his sisters, Brenda Kincaid of Michigan, Peggy Reed of Mayfield and Vickie Bynum of Mayfield; and his grandchildren, Breana, Paige, Briar, Gary and Jennifer.
