She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Byrd and Mada Hughes Byrd; her son William Keith Adams; and her sister Patsy Crotzer. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Darlene Stephens and Brenda Freeman; her brother Billy Gene Byrd; and her grandchildren, Ben Geurin, Andrea Moore and Jamon Stephens.
