He was predeceased by: his father Shelby Waggener; his former wife Joyce B. Waggoner; his wife Robbie Lanier Waggoner; and his sister Dr. Pauline Waggener. He is survived by: his children, Paula Waggoner West (Milton) of Paducah and Mark Waggoner (Renee) of Symsonia; his grandchildren, Benjamin West (Cherith) of Kenedale, John West (Anna) of Pine Mountain and Lindsey Waggoner of Murray; and his stepson Ron Lanier (Christine) of Bulverde. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
