He was predeceased by: his father Hulon Sliger; his grandparents, Rufus B., Effie Mae Turner Bean, Norman Monroe and Maude Adelle Roberts Sliger; and his siblings, Teddy Bazzell, Wanda Nance Brown, Dorothy Bazzell and Betty Parrish.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph H. Sliger of Murray, Jean Self of Murray, Jo Ann Sliger-Thorn of Murray and Diana Tindell (Robert) of Murray; and his friend Joyce Sliger of Murray.
