She was predeceased by: her parent Plomer H. Barnes; and her husband Ray D. Wire. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Coles (Allen) of Murray, Lisa Prather of Murray, Kentucky, Randell E. Sanders (Beth) of Lexington, James Sanders (Donna) of Murray and Larry D. Sanders (Rosemary) of Murray, Kentucky; and her brother Plomer G. Barnes (Cookie) of Lawrenceville, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; as well as two step-great great grandchildren.
