He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Robert Howes I and Nellie Wheeler Howes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Howes of Murray; his sons, Carl Howes III (Nadine) of High Point, NC, Charles Howes (Teresa) of Murray and Adam Howes of Little Elm, TX; his sister Naomi Schmidt (Jim) of Florence; and his grandchildren, Henry, Charlotte, Christopher (Natasha), Logan, Lucas, Alex and Ada Janea Howes.
