He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Mellon (Showalter) of Murray, KY; and his children, Mary Ford (Harry) of Benton, KY, Mike Mellon of Paducah, KY and Mark Mellon of Gloucester, VA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
