It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby J. Hodges of Murray, Kentucky, born in Almo, Kentucky, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Hodges and Essie Elizabeth Hodges Morris (Phillips); his stepparents, Hazel Evon Hodges (Milton) and Roy Morris; his siblings, Pat Hodges and Judy; and his brother-in-law Clarence Reuben "Rudy" Thorne.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hodges of Murray, KY; his children, Tammy Hodges-Burnett (Michael) of Murray, Robert Wayne Hodges (Christie) of Murray and Debbie Addison of Murray; his grandchildren, Sarah Willard (Haley) of Murray, Courtney Marcu (Marius) of Germany, Jake Burnett (Lauren) of Murray and David Burnett (Cheyanne Gillespie) of Sanford, FL; his great grandchildren, Lillian Davis, Emma Rose Davis, Madilyn Grace Marcu, Elijah Gabriel Marcu, Michael Ray Burnett, Grayson Lee Burnett, Christopher Edward Burnett, Mason Gillespie and Bobby Joe Burnett; his sisters, Lynne Hopson (Charles) of Fults, IL, Carol Leib (Jim) of Murfreesboro, TN and Diane Rogers of Paducah, KY; and his sister-in-law Carol Hodges. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
