He was predeceased by: his parents, James Riggs and Elvina Miller Riggs; his mother-in-law Nancy Atwell; his brothers, Huston and Jerry; and his sister-in-law Evlin.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Atwell Riggs; his father-in-law Keith Atwell; his sons, Jonathan Riggs (Haley) and Derek Riggs (Sunni); his grandchildren, Gianna, Jaxon, Tinizlee, Bryn, Kathryn, Charlotte and Brodie; his siblings, Freddie (Lee), Marvin (Brenda), Gaines (E. J.) and Helen (Kenny); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Robert, Eric, Andrew, Freddie Jr., Josh, Jasmine, Monica, Jessica, Jaward, Autumn, Bradley, Benjamin, John Thompson, James Maulden, Stacy Adkins and Leah Shatswell.
