He is survived by: his wife Debbie Gibson; his children, Glea Gibson of Park City, KY, Mahaley Neal (Scott), Tony Gibson (Tena) and Jerry "Hoot" Gibson (Stephanie); and his siblings, Sue Likens of Louisville, KY, Joyce Whitehead, Faye "Trish" Hack, Stanley Gibson of Louisville, KY, Ronnie Gibson and Paul Gibson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
