We bid farewell to Jo Ann Roten of Munfordville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Jo Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Middleton and Icy Hornback Middleton; her husband Harold Roten; and her sister Lois Hart. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Akin (Lisa) of Elizabethtown, KY and Tony Akin (Gina) of Munfordville, KY; her siblings, Jimmy Middleton of Sonora, KY and Mabel Brooks of Sonora, KY; her grandchildren, Karisa Brzostowski (Shawn) and Travis Akin; and her great grandchildren, Jack Wyatt Brzostowski, Ford Wilder Brzostowski and Waylon Brzostowski.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home (29 W Western Ave, Sonora, KY 42776). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
