He is survived by: his wife Betty Van Garsel; his children, Peter Van Garsel and Bonnie Cocchi (Jeff) of Georgia; his stepdaughter Sherri Kellog (Tim) of Georgia; and his sister JoAnn Bergeron (Jim) of Georgia. He is also survived by several Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and many close friends.
