He is survived by: his wife Sue Jane Crabb Dowell of Munfordville, KY; his children, J. P. Dowell (Stacy) of Killeen, TX, Tony Dowell (Corrie) of Dallas, TX, Dustin Dowell of Killeen, TX, Chad Connell (Haley) of Bend, OR and April Gustafson (Wiley) of Conroe, TX; his grandchildren, Autumn Dowell, Harlee Gustafson and Connell; and his siblings, Patricia Powell (Pat) of Killeen, TX, Jack Dowell (Mary) of Calistoga, CA and Dale Dowell (Linda) of Pasadena, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
