She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Green and Bertha Mae Owen; her husband Edgar Carter Sr.; and her son Edgar. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte McClellan (Matthew Sr.), William C. Carter, Timothy R. Carter, Mark D. Carter (Cynthia) and Phillip Carter; and her brothers, Ewing Green of Columbus, OH and Grover Owens Jr.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, host of great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
