He is survived by: his mother Katherine Day; his wife Marvel Creech; his children, Kristy Crider, Angie Asher, Melody Creech and Gary Allen Creech, II (Angela); his brother James E. Creech, Jr.; his half-brother Calvin Creech, Jr.; his sister Nancy Hardy; his half-sister Lorrie Woodward; his grandchildren, Wesley, Nicholas, Eric Crider, Haley Moore, Josh Southard, David Creech, Matt Asher, Danielle Asher and Lura Adkins; his aunts and uncles, Grace, Edith, Betty Sue, Edna, Cheryl, Rex and Wayne Day; his nieces and nephews, Kathy, Amanda, David Creech and William Jack; and his close friend Bradly Pennington.
