He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whitehead and Amy Catherine Turner; and his wife Sarah Simpson Whitehead. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Whitehead (Sam) of Independence, Richard Whitehead (Lucy) of Lubbock, Darrell Whitehead of Covington, Jack Whitehead of Brooksville, Denver Whitehead (Tina) of Covington, Carson Whitehead (Linda Mills Whitehead) of Brooksville and Carolyn Stortz (George) of Melbourne; and his siblings, Taylor Whitehead of Lexington and Fannie Roberts of Hyden. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
