It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Thornsbury of Mouthcard, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James David Thornsbury and Marie Perry Thornsbury; and his grandparents, Howard Thornsbury, Cleo Fife, Leonard and Laura Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Hunt Thornsbury of Mouthcard, KY; his daughter Cathy Jo Thornsbury; his granddaughter Olivia Lynn Wagner of Cedar Bluff, VA.; his siblings, James David Thornsbury (Nina) of Seaside, CA, Stanley Thornsbury (Nadine) of Bristol, TN and Diana Thornsbury Scott of Valdosta, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Tennille Thornsbury Perry (Chris) of Bristol, VA, Lisa Marie Thornsbury Corpuz (Kren) of Seaside, CA, Kellie Marie Owens Gibbs (Ben) of Freeport, FL, James David Thornsbury, III of Seaside, CA and James Justin Owens (Amanda) of Southbridge, MA. He is also survived by two great-nephews and three great-nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Lick Creek Holiness Church (2-330 KY-1373, Lick Creek, KY 41540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
