With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rickey Hackney of Mouthcard, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie Hackney; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Lois Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Carl Hackney and Hattie Hackney (Anderson) of Mouthcard, KY.; his wife Connie Lynn Hackney (Smith) of Mouthcard, KY; his children, Harley Smith and Talisha of Mouthcard, KY; his sister Angelic Ramey of North Carolina; and his nieces and nephews, Zoey Hackney, Sydney Smith, Tony Miller, Lucas Cody Smith and Jacob Tanner Thacker.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the funeral bill for Rickey Hackney, P.O. Box 1016, Grundy, VA 24614.
