He was predeceased by: his parents, H. A. Grizzle and Gladys Stanley Grizzle; his spouse Maretta Adams Grizzle; his granddaughter Sarah Allison Newsome; and his sisters, Mary Evelyn Grizzle and Daisy Ching.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Newsome (Steve); his siblings, Willard Grizzle (Roberta), Darlene Smith, Mildred Grizzle and Vickie Grizzle; his grandchildren, Leamon Bishop and Summer Breeze Newsome; his great grandchild Aleah Shay Bishop; his sister-in-law Carrie Adams Ramey; and his nephew Teddy Ching.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
