It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie Shortridge of Mouthcard, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hackney and Cosby Taylor Hackney; her children, Eddie Dean Shortridge and Evelyn Toasten; and her brothers, Dan Hackney and Buster Hackney.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Howard Shortridge of Mouthcard, KY; her children, Harrow "Buddy" Shortridge (Anita) of Defiance, OH, Howard Shortridge (Evelyn) of Mouthcard, KY and Marietta Goddard (Kyle) of Pikeville, KY; and her grandchildren, Shawn Shortridge, Heather McCord, Amber Shortridge, David Shortridge, Cynthia Hurley, Deanna Thomas, Charity Terry, Tammy Webb, Jason Lee Ratliff, Shane Shortridge and Michael Shortridge. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
